 ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Shir Atzmon and I'm a 23-year-old fitness enthusiast with a strong passion for health and learning about the human body. I've been in love with sports since I was a young girl, but over the past few years I've developed a particular love for resistance training. I find it challenging, rewarding, empowering and have found a greater sense of well-being after it!

Throughout my adolescent years and into my 20's I believed that it was normal to be unhappy with my body, fear food and have an unhealthy relationship with exercise. This led me to suffer from an eating disorder for many years whereby it began to consume me and take over all aspects of my life, including social outings, exercise, my mental health, and personal relationships. After many years of challenging myself to repair these relationships on the journey of self-love, I developed a passion and calling to help others who are experiencing what I went through. I decided I wanted to help others through this, gaining confidence and a positive mindset towards their food, exercise, and body. I want you to know that if I could overcome such adversity, so can you.

Through resistance training and healing my relationship with my body, I learned to appreciate and love my body for what it can do, instead of obsessing over how it appears. Exercise should add to our routine and lifestyle, rather than take away parts of it. You too can learn to love exercise for the way it makes you feel mentally, and for all the positive benefits exercise brings to your overall health. My programs are designed to help you understand how strong and incredible your body can be and what it is capable of, following a safe and controlled progression. Importantly, these programs focus on promoting a positive balance between exercise and your normal lifestyle routine (hence the maximum days of exercise in a program is 4-5 to encourage balance). Oh, and you’ll be looking and feeling sexier and healthier than ever.
